Welcome, Failte, & Fit Like? to the biggest, oldest (established in 1999 as Scotland's Seti) and best Scottish Boinc team around!
We crunch for all the major Boinc projects and nearly all the minor ones. Our aim is to use our spare computing power to advance human knowledge while enjoying some friendly competition amongst ourselves and with other teams. So if you're Scottish by birth, ancestry, residence, emotional attachment or even if you've no link at all with Scotland but just fancy being part of a lively friendly team, please come join us, everyone is welcome. The most important part of the site is our Forum . Even if you're not a member of any of our teams we'd be delighted to have you visit.

A Pentathlon & a mystery solved (Maybe).

It's the annual SETI Germany Boinc Pentathalon and we are struggling to make an impact. So far we are the lowliest of the 28 teams with points which is better than being one of the 8 pointless teams. All the same it's a reminder that we are a rather small team punching above our weight by using a disproportionate number of top end GPUs to crunch some of the more generous projects.

in particular we are indebted to Merlyn who was once the top cruncher in the world by RAC and who, even though he suddenly stopped crunching in April 2011 is still #52 by total credit and accounts for over a quarter of our credit.

I think I may have solved the mystery of why he stopped. http://www.ecurie-cymraeg.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?tid=278&page=2 The forename & surname are the same, the part of the UK is right, Merlyn was into motorsports, and most conclusively Merlyn stopped crunching the same week that this poor fellow stopped everything.

This post is dedicated to the memory of Merlyn/Steve Sandles.

* Excellent Running Shoes for Men and Women

For the average joe somewhere between 35 and 55 years old and you are selecting your running shoes for your early morning jog around the park, then you can probably just go to your local foot locker and pick out a pair of reeboks or nikes that fit your feet.If you are on a budget(And who isn't these days)You can get some of the very same name brand running shoes for women or men at discounters like nordstrom rack, marshalls, burlington coat factory, tj maxx, or your neighborhood facsimile to these merchants.
Those superstores have gigantic aisles upon aisles of great running and training footwear for you to deliberate over. It's a little more difficult finding your size at these stores but if you don't mind the crowd and have some patience, then you could find an incredible bargain.Marshalls, for instance, carries reebok, new balance, and even some nikes, among other off-Brands.They also have a nice choice of hiking sandals.Even bj's warehouse has some great shoe bargains, albeit a much tighter selection.
Comfort is of prime consideration with running shoes for men, comfort is where it is at.I find that the most comfortable running Cheap Air Jordans shoes are those without back handles because i have found that this cloth handle rubs against my achilles every time due to my foot's shape. Those with club feed need to shop elsewhere. If you have problems with falling arches you may want to talk to a specialist first or find prescription insoles.
Whatever new air jordans 2013 your special need, there are shoes for men to match your specifications. For most of us amateurs it is just about finding a comfortable shoe that is not too expensive and looks good on your feet.
